Winter Break: Time to Recharge and Refresh!

It’s time for our winter break when we relax, refresh, and think up new ideas for connecting with and nurturing young children. We will return on Wednesday, January 20.

When our city first sheltered in place in March, little did I know we would be locked down into the New Year. But here we are. So, at “Call Me Grandma!” we pivoted from in-person activities with the grandkids to remote ones to do on FaceTime or zoom.

I hope some of the ideas for connecting with grandkids virtually, were of help to you. Here’s wishing next year’s activities on “Call Me Grandma!” can include personal interaction with the little ones. I could use a hug.

Thank you for having visited my blog this year. Best wishes from all of us–Miss T, Little N, my husband Steve, and me–for a happy and healthy new year!

During my absence, please check our archives under the topics, grandma crafts, grandma fun, grandma food, and grandma says for other kid-pleasing activities and personal insights you might have missed.

And I hope you will follow me on InstagramFacebook and Twitter where I will be posting throughout my break.

Finally, please sign up for my email newsletter! When I return in January, I’ll send you a new idea each Wednesday for an activity or insight to nurture the little ones in your life.
